Finance & Operations

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience managing accounting departments for small businesses, and large corporate experience working for Sprint in Financial Analysis. However, for the past 23 years, I have also been a business owner and CFO at my husband’s Technology Managed Services Company. From the very beginning, I was fully involved in growing the company, creating all processes and procedures for the Accounting, Human Resources, and Administration departments, and overseeing all staff within those departments. As a small business owner, I have been involved in all parts of the business, specifically including Business Strategy and Technology Selection/ROI Planning. I have gained M&A experience through our business since we made three business acquisitions to roll into ours, and I was heavily involved in forecasting, evaluating opportunities, and managing the due diligence process for those we engaged with. I also played a key role in running the integrations for the acquired companies, ensuring that we were able to achieve profitability from day one. Recently, we sold the business, and I stayed on for a transitional 6-month contract to ensure a smooth transition which has just been completed. I have taken on a couple small financial consulting jobs, and I am looking for more opportunities in the realm of Fractional CFO, where I can bring my skills and expertise to automate processes, reduce costs, and improve profits. My motivation and what I love is fulfillment through identifying and implementing systems that save money, reduce stress, and increase profitability. I am confident that I can make an immediate impact for any organization that I work with, and I am eager to take on new challenges and help companies achieve their financial goals.
